About the size of two football pitches, this tiny island has an excellent house reef.
Athuruga is an intimate holiday resort for people who want to get back to nature. We particularly liked the fact that there were other islands in the area to visit so you don't get the sense of isolation that some people find a bit hard going at times.
We really enjoyed our stay, in large part due to the wonderful staff. They were a bit reserved for a few days (maybe the senior management were around) but then relaxed and became really friendly and helpful to a tee. Athuruga Island Resort holidays are simply lovely.
Accomodation is luxurious and kept immaculate.
