Dhonveli is all about the surfing. Yards from your beach hut is one of the coolest breaks on the planet. The awsome pasta point is a surfer's dream. Other cool breaks sourrounding the island including Sultans, Honkeys, Prisons, Colas, Chickens and Ninjas.
After the surf, crash on the amazing beach. Dhonveli in Maldivian actually means white sand.
If you really want to you can always scuba dive. Dhonveli is on the North Ari Atoll and has a full Padi dive centre on the island.
Old time fans of the maldives may remeber that Dhonveli used to be known as Tari Village.

Great mix
Dhon Veli offers a mix of both surfing and scuba and a mix of people who do them. his leads, inevitably to a friendly rivalry, but the rivalry was all about who could organise the best party, so we had a wickked time.
The Don
Surf was definitely up last month when we spent a fabulous week of surfing and diving. The Dhon is the Don!

Give them one more star. Don Veli is wonderful. I really think it was the best holiday I ever had, and I have had a few.
