Hot and humid out of high season. The maldives are a great destination for scuba diving and those wanting to baste themselves, but offer little for people who dont fit into those two camps.
Innatentive service said one reviewer in march 06. However, others have complimented the service they received.

Take enough suntan lotion
The shop at Farukolhufushi sells suntan lotion at a huge markup. Also, there are no decent gifts to bring home to friends.
