Twinned with Paradise.
Our cheap tickets to Veligandu Island Resort were the best bargain of the year. We didn't know quite what to expect, but we certainly didn't expect the high level of quality service and all round niceness that was offered.
We both learned to scuba dive and in the evening walking along the 'bridge' (flattest bridge I ever saw) to Dhigufinolhu island we often saw dolphins.
There is lots to do and the beach is the sort of sand that the mayor of blackpool would kill for.

we stayed at Veligandu 2 yrs ago , in a water bungalow they had just been renovated to a very high standard. Everything about theisland was great no complaints, the staff were always ready to help even with fussy eaters. I would definetly go again if i could afford it , but it has gone quite expensive since the renovation .
Water bungalows are great.
I disagree. Water bungalows are not a rip off. I loved hanging over the edge of my balcony watching the fish.

Water bungalows are a bit of a rip off. The standard chalets are just as cool.
