As you can see, the hottest month is usually around March and April and the coolest, around November and December. All in all, weather on the maldives is pretty good, the islands being blessed by great temperatures and masses of sunshine all year round.
However, from May to September the monsoon season hits the Maldives and during this period there can be strong wind which lead to big ocean swells and quite a bit of rain.
